How Do I Upload My Picture / Avatar?

You can upload a picture or avatar that will give your online presence a personalized look. Once you have registered and logged in to your user account, go to your user profile page and click on the 'Edit' tab. Scroll down the page and find the 'Picture' section. Click on the 'Browse' button to locate the picture that you want to use on your computer. You will then need to scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the 'Submit' button.

You can upload any picture you want, just make sure that you have the permission to use it and aren't violating any copyrights. Maximum dimensions are 1600x1400 and the maximum size is 1024 kB.

Can I Change My Username?

At this time you cannot change your username. However you can always request that we close your account. Once your account is closed, you are welcome to register again using your preferred username.

Problems with the visual or audio quality of a live broadcast are often due to your internet connection speed. If you are experiencing problems with the live broadcasts, please follow the tips below. Note: Dial-up modems do not offer a fast enough connection to receive streaming video. How Can I Delete Content I Have Posted?

Only certain kinds of content e.g. your 'My Story' post can be edited. All other content is non editable and cannot be removed.

What Can I Do About Posts I Don't Like?

The Friends of David Spero website is a community site and members all have equal access to contribute content in the form of forum posts, blog posts and comments. Equally, any member can 'flag' this content if they think it is unsuitable for the website. The website administrators will consider removing member submitted content if it has received too many flags.

A 'Flag This' link appears beneath each post or comment. Simply click on the link and confirm that you want to flag the post.

How Can I Close My Account?

We will be sorry to see you go, but will close down your account for you. All you need to do is fill out the contact form letting us know that you no longer want to keep your account. Content associated with your account may or may not be deleted.
